YOUR ENQUIRY
Privacy information
This page describes enquiries about Letterfearn Retreat. Bookings and payment acceptance are not yet open. The privacy information will be updated as the booking arrangements are finalised.
What happens when you submit a booking request
The website form collects your name, email address, preferred dates, guest numbers, stay option and any optional message. When you press “Send booking request”, the information is sent securely to FormSubmit, which processes the submission and forwards it to the operator’s email address. Your email app is not used.
Submitting a form is a request, not a confirmed reservation or payment. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or payment-card details.
FormSubmit states that it retains form submissions for 30 days. It may hold submissions while the receiving email address is awaiting one-time activation. See FormSubmit’s privacy information and submission and retention information. Our email provider also processes the messages we receive. The form does not save entries to browser storage.
How enquiry information is used
Any applied booking code and the requested stay option are also included with your booking request. The owner uses booking-request information to reply, confirm availability, prepare a quote and arrange a stay. Taking steps at your request before entering a contract is the basis for this processing. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in an enquiry. The operator and data-controller contact is Jonathan Proctor, Fearainn Ur, Letterfearn, IV40 8HT; email jjlproctor@gmail.com. Retention periods and the remaining privacy details will be confirmed before bookings open.
Payments and Airbnb
This website does not collect card details. Any agreed direct-booking payment will use a separately supplied Stripe-hosted payment page, with Stripe’s own privacy information. Airbnb bookings and payments are handled through Airbnb under its policies.
Website services
The site loads font files from Google Fonts and links to Google Maps. These services may receive technical information such as your IP address when used. Website hosting may process access and security logs. No analytics or advertising scripts have been added to this website.
